November 2nd and its 80 and sunny!
We met with the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem this morning. We walked from Beit Shmuel to his palace in the Christian Quarter.
I thought it was great that his title is His Beatitude. So when people asked him questions, "What does His Beatitude think about..."
He's so fly (for my elder readers- hip) with his blaaaang and his staff.
He was handing out souvenirs to the people who have friends that are Greek Orthodox. I lied and got a magnet of Mother Mary, a poster of the Holy Tomb of Jesus and a book(not sure what it is, its completely in Greek)
Churches have the most amazing ceilings!
